Our Design Process

Please note that every project is unique, and not all phases of the design process may be required for every project. Services are thoughtfully tailored based on the scope, goals, timeline, and specific needs of each client to ensure a personalized and seamless design experience.

Discovery & Design Consultation

Every project begins with a personalized consultation to understand your lifestyle, vision, aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and investment goals.

During this phase, we:

Establish the foundation for a cohesive and intentional space

Materials & Finish Selections

We thoughtfully curate materials and finishes that elevate the overall design while balancing beauty, durability, and functionality.

Selections may include:

Flooring and tile
Cabinetry and countertops
Paint colors and wall treatments
Plumbing and lighting fixtures
Decorative finishes and textures

Design Presentation & Documentation

Once selections and layouts are finalized, we prepare detailed design presentations and documentation to guide the execution of the project.

Depending on the scope, this may include:

Floor plans and elevations
Design boards and renderings
Material specifications
Procurement and installation planning

Installation, Styling & Finalization

The final phase is where the vision comes to life. We oversee installation, styling, and finishing details to ensure every element is thoughtfully executed.

This phase includes:

Furniture and décor installation
Final styling and layering
Quality control and walkthroughs
A polished and fully realized final reveal

Concept Development & Space Planning

Once the vision is established, we begin developing the overall design concept and layout strategy.

This phase may include:

Space planning and furniture layouts
Design direction and mood boards
Traffic flow and functionality planning
Initial concepts that reflect the desired atmosphere and lifestyle of the space

Furnishings, Lighting & Styling

We carefully select furnishings, lighting, and décor that align with the overall vision and bring warmth, sophistication, and personality into the space.

This includes:

Furniture sourcing
Lighting and fixture selections
Artwork and décor styling
Layering textures, tones, and finishing details

Procurement & Project Coordination

Our studio manages the sourcing, ordering, and coordination process to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

We oversee:

Vendor and supplier communication
Ordering and tracking
Coordination with contractors and trades
Timeline management and project oversight

Working with Janelle was such a great experience.
